Question 1

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We're located at 65 Poplar St, Conshohocken, PA 19428 — right off I-476 and the Schuylkill Expressway, making us easy to reach from Plymouth Meeting, King of Prussia, Villanova, Gladwyne, Norristown, Blue Bell, Ambler, Fort Washington, Lansdale, and all of Montgomery County.

Question 2

How do I prepare my vehicle before dropping it off?

Accepted Answer

Remove any personal belongings, car seats, and valuables from the interior. Give the exterior a light rinse if it's heavily muddy — but don't wash it, as we'll handle the proper decontamination process ourselves.

Question 3

How long does a full detail take?

Accepted Answer

A Full Detail Package typically takes 8–12 hours. Ceramic coating is a multi-day process (usually 2 days) due to curing time. Maintenance washes are 1–2 hours. We'll give you an exact time estimate when you book.

Question 4

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Accepted Answer

Our professional ceramic coatings are rated for 5+ years with proper maintenance. Annual maintenance washes using coating-safe products are recommended to preserve hydrophobic performance and gloss.

Question 5

Is ceramic coating worth it for a daily driver in the Philadelphia area?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — especially in the Philadelphia suburbs where road salt, humidity, and UV exposure can take a real toll on paint. A ceramic coating makes daily maintenance much easier, protects against environmental contaminants, and preserves resale value for years.

Question 6

Will paint correction remove all scratches?

Accepted Answer

Paint correction removes the vast majority of swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. Deep scratches that have penetrated the clear coat or primer cannot be fully removed by polishing — we'll flag any such areas during inspection.

Question 7

Do you offer any guarantees?

Accepted Answer

100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you're not happy with the result, we'll redo it — free of charge. We stand behind every service we perform.

Question 8

How do I book an appointment in Conshohocken?

Accepted Answer

You can book online at drdetailpa.com in just a few minutes — no phone call required. Select your vehicle type, service, any add-ons, and your preferred date. We confirm within 24 hours and serve customers from across Montgomery County and the greater Philadelphia area.

Question 9

How often should I get a maintenance wash?

Accepted Answer

We recommend every 4–6 weeks for vehicles with ceramic coatings, and every 2–4 weeks for uncoated vehicles. Regular maintenance prevents contaminant buildup that can damage your paint over time.
